Knee-Jerk Reactions (5/20/2012)

– With Nebraska baseball now officially in the Big Ten tournament – and the postseason for the first time since 2008 – the bar has been raised for Darin Erstad. Why stop now? If Nebraska notches 35 wins, I’d call the year good. If the Huskers go on a tear, that number may push closer to 40.

– Charles Jackson is in Lincoln and ready to do damage this fall. Be on the lookout.

– I’m all for Ahman Green playing again. Unless Jacksonville offers, then I’d recommend sticking to the sideline.

– Looking forward to seeing Tommie Frazier inducted into the College Football Hall of Fame next year…right?

– Watch Alfonzo Dennard’s deal get restructured into a nice, fat contract if he keeps his nose clean two years into it.

– Let. The Rose Bowl. Go.

– Nebraska’s been impressing with their recent recruiting successes. They’ve found quality talent, now they need some star power. Those prospects likely won’t get locked down until later in the process, but they’re still vital to get over the hump.

– It’s no secret that I’m a fan of the NCAA Football franchise, so what better way to end this week’s KJRs than with a battle between No. 1 Nebraska at Minnesota featuring the exploits of Golden Gopher MIKE linebacker Jack Hammer? Enjoy. (Spoiler: Huskers win)
