Early Friday morning, a video spread like wildfire featuring what may very well be Nebraska’s alternate uniforms before vanishing at 9:15 AM. Several shots of the uniform were shown with a final short clip of a black background with “9.29.12″ on it. This would coincide with Nebraska’s game against Wisconsin. The video also featured the word “unrivaled.” Could this be in reference to settling who the REAL Big Red is?

UPDATE: Bo Pelini confirmed that these are the uniforms that will be worn against Wisconsin.

      He has confirmed with multiple outlets including the Omaha World-Herald.

    Those can’t be the new Husker uniforms, NCAA jersey regulations state that the letters on the front have to be at least 8″ tall and 1 1/2″ wide. These do not qualify for those regulation standards.

    The prototype may look good on the model, but what’s it going to look like on a 300-plus pound lineman? Not good I think… NU just need to be NU and not try to be someone else…

      If said lineman is blowing his man off the ball, they’ll look pretty good. It’s for one game, the players like them and recruits like them. The money that will be made as a result is just gravy.
