The latest commitment for Nebraska football’s 2011 recruiting class fits the definition of “sleeper” to a T.

Aaryn Bouzos, a 5-foot-11, 185-pound safety from La Mirada, Calif., had offers from NU, New Mexico State and Wyoming. He runs a 4.5-second 40-yard dash time. He chose the Cornhuskers Thursday according to two recruiting sites and called the decision a “no-brainer.”

La Mirada High School finished 13-1 last season, winning the Southern Division of the California Interscholastic Federation. Already two of La Mirada’s players have committed to Washington State and Nevada for next season. Several others are fielding offers.
