I used to think ESPN was an accurate source for football...

... and then they ranked Gerald McCoy ahead of Ndamukong Suh (not to mention Eric Berry, who is also significantly better at his position than McCoy is at his). Despite the stats, the workouts, and all other indications staring them in the face, the "expert" NFL Draft analysts (most notably supergenius Todd McShay) insist on rating McCoy (2010 All American, 34 tackles, 6 sacks) ahead of Suh (2010 All American, Nagurski Award/Bednarik Award/Outland Award/Lombardi Award winner, Heisman Trophy Finalist, 82 tackles, 12 sacks, int) because he is a "better all around DT". Not really that important, i just found this a bit amusing.Permanent Link to this Blog Post

Hello No. 1 pick...

Still not convinced Ndamukong Suh turned down millions and millions last year from the NFL to stay one more year in college?
Well, convince yourself.
You don't just vault from, say, the second round of the 2009 Draft to the top of the 2010 Draft because of chatter.
Suh was well-known by NFL folks back in January. The media is just now catching up.
Makes that All Big 12 second-team selection Suh got from the coaches last year look like a total joke. Wonder if one coach held out on him. Hmmm...who could that have been?
Oh yeah...six OU guys make the first round of this mock draft. Talented enough, huh?
Next year, Oklahoma's defense is gonna be the Javier Bardem character in "No Country For Old Men."Permanent Link to this Blog Post
