Rumors are flying that Nebraska head coach Bo Pelini will ask Iowa defensive line coach Rick Kaczenski to join the Nebraska Cornhusker football team as defensive line coach. The current defensive line coach is John Papuchis.

“Sources close to the program tell us Bo Pelini has targeted Iowa defensive line coach Rick Kaczenski to fill the defensive opening he has. We continue to hear that John Papuchis will be named defensive coordinator.” – FootballScoop.com

Rick Kaczenski graduated from Notre Dame in 1997. Current coaching duties have been at Iowa for the last six years. With John Papuchis and Rick Kaczenski, we could be looking at a nice match for the Nebraska defensive. Players should be thrilled as well since Rick has sent Adrian Clayborn, Christian Ballard, and Karl Klug to the NFL.
