Our latest installment of the Why I Walked On feature is NU linebacker Mathew May, who looked to be breaking through as the Huskers' starter in 2009 before an injury derailed that year and left him fighting through adversity. After a pretty incredible recovery from a hernia injury that took May across the Atlantic Ocean, he's back in the mix for playing time - and making tackles on special teams.
