C'mon Harvey, now is your chance to do something good for all of college football. Mountain West is better than at least 1/2 of the BCS conferences. Utah went undefeated and pummeled Alabama who Florida just got by. 4 or 8 team playoff and give everyone an equal chance. You realized the mistake of Steve Pedersen for NE, now realize the unfairness of the BCS.

Apparently, gettin a playoff is like gettin peace in the Middle East. Maybe this is harder.

A lot of stuff to chew on here. Thanks for putting the time in, Husker Locker.
My initial reaction:
1. So the BCS is about conferences...and Notre Dame? Why? Because Notre Dame *used* to be good? Is there a mechanism by which Notre Dame would lose its automatic bid status. They certainly don't deserve it.
2. Yes, I think fans would travel three weeks in succession. It'd be the greatest road trip a fan base has ever seen. Especially when a team only makes the playoff every couple six years.
3. The Mountain West are full of clowns...
