The new guys officially have numbers. Nebraska freshmen and junior college transfer LaVonte David - most of whom reported weeks ago for the summer conditioning bridge program - appear to have received their jersey numbers for 2010, according to the updated roster on huskers.com.

Yoshi Hardrick, Chase Rome and Jay Guy, of course, already have their numbers of 50, 97 and 99 because they enrolled last January.

Here’s a link to the roster list, and the numbers for scholarship players are located below. One of the names on the list, tight end Chase Harper, will not be enrolling this fall at NU. Another recruit, Braylon Heard, is not yet on campus.
