    Both were part of the first-team all-Big 12 academic squad released Wednesday. Both seniors, Velander (biological sciences) and Krenk (Pyschology) each earned better than a 3.2 grade point average for the honor.

    Fitting that they'd get this award on the same night as their last home game.
