Bell's knockin em dead in summer ball. Niles Paul, too. Both are doing better than Holt this guy said.
Also heard C. Green's just so-so, but that Zac Lee's putting on an aerial show.
Pretty good source on this. -

Green is just out of high school. The best QB prospect in the country needs time at this level and with this quality of ballclub. Even TD took some time to aclimate in his first year.CO Husker

Holt's never done much for me. Can't beat a guy downfield. Ever. How can a guy who never beats his name and always catches his passes in the middle of zone defenses be your No. 1 guy?
Put Bell out there and let him sink or swim.Beautiful Nebraska, peaceful prairieland,
Laced with many rivers, and the hills of sand;
Dark green valleys cradled in the earth,
Rain and sunshine bring abundant birth.

Good to hear about our receivers , because our new quarterbacks fate will have more to do with the blocking up front and the capability of his receivers. IF Lee gets good protection , yet looks downfield and our recievers are all laying on thier backs , how can ANY quarterback throw well ? I think this had alot to do with Jamaal Lords perception of not being able to throw , I dont think he had the talent at receiver to compete , even though he was not a GREAT passer. Having some recievers with some good size and speed will help any quarterback.Opinions are only formed when the recipient pauses , listens , studies and then discerns for memory what is beneficial. Blind ambition only serves to promote deception within the benefactors ignorance. But then ignorance is bliss ....

i am a big fan of antonio bell, he came out of high school rated as just a 2 star by rivals. (joe ganz, anybody?) the difference is that bell could have a 4 or 5 star impact THIS YEAR. i dont understand how rivals could have gotten that so wrong. probably because he was bored in high school ball. but nevermind all that. bell had a monster spring and showcased great ball skills, soft hands, good jumping ability, and good speed throughout the spring and spring game. i dont think the coaches can afford to redshirt this kid, as he is already one of the best receivers on the roster and easily has the most upside of any of them.
cody green is obviously so-so, high school qbs dont just come into college and dominate normally. and green is a guy thats going to need a year or two to get used to the playbook and the speed of the college game. hell get there though. hell be ready to start after lee graduates.huskermaniac28
