A Joe Ganz replacement. I think everything else will take care of itself. Maybe the Defensive Secondary is deserving of being suspect but we will see.Go Big Red

im mostly worried about the dbacks, we have a lot of speed but we dont have a lot of size, and in the big twelve there is a lot of big recievers -

i agree with MrMagoo, i think QB is the biggest worry going into the fall. i like zac lee and i think he has a lot of ability, and i love his athleticism, but its always tough replacing a QB of the caliber of joe ganz. i think all other positions will be just fine after a couple games of experience, i think our coaches will be able to handle that. thats not to say i dont think watson can coach up zac lee, because i think he will, but QB is easily the hardest position to play on the whole football team, and lee has barely any in game experience at this level. that being said, i really dont have too many worries in the first place, im pretty confident and excited about the upcoming year, but id have to say QB worries the most because so much of the season hinders on how well he plays.huskermaniac28

From the speed factor I would have to say overall speed. I was amazed how fast Clemson's defense was compaired to us. Speed kills. -

In order of concern; #1-QB depth (Lee goes down and we are in DEEP trouble), #2-OL (see concern #1), #3-WR (inability to get open or catch errant passes and we become a one dimensional run O that an opposing D will load up on). The Blackshirts will be a force and save the season more than once. -

One thing about a team loading the box on us, is that our RB's and TE's will be able to flair out to the flats, and with our TE's they have a little more speed than most. I would look for Mr. Watson to combat Loading the Box, with a liitle misdirection, RB shifts into the slots, or TE going deep. That should help but hey, what the hell do I know....I played Junior High Football. As you ramble on through life keep this as your goal, keep you eye upon the doughnut and not upon the hole.

1. Quarterback - replacing Ganz will be a challenge. And if Lee goes down, ouch!
2. Linebacker - we need experience and speed.
3. Punter - a good punter can change field position. -

LB. I question the talent there, I somewhat question the coaching, and I question the players being used.
What I saw out of that unit last year was a lot of confusion, slowness and sloppy play. Please don't tell me the best option this year is Colton Koehler at MLB.Beautiful Nebraska, peaceful prairieland,

Dark green valleys cradled in the earth,
