Terry Pettit, the mercurial, thoughtful coach who built Nebraska volleyball out of nothing, is going to the Hall of Fame.
Richly deserved.
Different kind of guy, and very different from John Cook. Loves literature. Loves psychology. Good writer. Intriguing, and occasionally ineffective, motivator in his later years. Believe in a lot of game situations, and mind trials. We liked him. Few could have done what he has. -
