Walter Camp player of the week for his five sacks vs. baylor. that's a school record that also leads the country this year...

Ndamukong Suh has already won the award twice this year.

I think Pelini has done great turning the defense around now its time to focus on offense.

Jared Crick is developing very nicely and looks like he will be ready to fill Suh's spot next year (although he has surely benefitted from Suh's double teams), with Steinkuhler filling the vacant DT position. I'm sold on this defensive line, they are easily one of the best units in the nation, and I think Carl Pelini is a D-line whiz. Even our backups are coming along nicely and look to form a D-line that will dominate year in and year out.
schuskerfan, remember what happened to the defense when Callahan came in and focused on the offense? Yes, Pelini needs to get that offense fixed somehow, whether it means making personnel changes or going so far as to change coaches, but, being the defensive whiz that he is, he can't just put the defense in the back of his mind. The blackshirts are back, but they still aren't where they need to be.
