Here's the text of a letter that appeared in the Daily Nebraskan...
I agree with the Daily Nebraskan staff that Suh should not be publicly criticized for hitting those three cars on Halloween night, but I do not agree that he should not feel any consequences. One of those cars that Suh hit was my car.
My car was declared totaled today by Tracy’s Body Shop. Suh’s insurance company will only give me compensation for the Blue Book value of my car. I am going to receive half of what I paid for the car, and on top of that, I will not receive enough to buy a decent car. I am from Des Moines and have to get back home for the holidays. This is a huge inconvenience for me, and I am feeling all of the consequences of Suh’s actions.
I have not received any sort of break from the insurance companies or Suh himself. I have not even received an apology. I do not want to publicly bash Suh for totaling my car ? it was an accident. But he is regarded as one of America’s all stars and is famous on this campus. At the very least, he could man up and apologize. -

Um wow...I say go man up yourself and rant to your insurance company. I've been in accidents before and no one has apologized to me for their actions and I haven't been made too. The man was in an 'accident' and they call it an accident for a reason. If he intentionally went out of his way to total your car then you would have recourse. As is your getting paid the value of your car. Its your own fault if your upside down on what you owe. Just because he's a public figure he's supposed to apologize? Please...go cry to someone who gives a......."I ultimately believe there are people who have lost sight about what it means to play great defense nowadays. It's not about the scheme. It's not about tricking somebody. It's about dominating somebody."

Consider yourself lucky. You could have been hit by a drunk driver with no insurance and no drivers license. Guess what kind of an apology you would have gotten then (and the insurance payout would have been zero)?
Its too bad you don't have a car to drive home. But thats not Mr. Suh's fault. This is the real world.Sandman Bob from the Sandhills of Nebraska-Go Big Red

Did I miss something ? Was it Suh's limo driver that hit this car ?
Maybe Suh will buy her a new car with his first check. I am sure he will do the right thing.Husker Power

Goober, what the heck are you talking about. There is an old adage, its better to be quiet and let people think you don't have a clue than it is to write something and remove all doubt.

I gotta go with Goober on this. All the kid wants is an "I'm sorry." He's not looking for a percentage of Suh's first Sunday check. Say sorry, sign a picture and move on. I understand that Suh isn't at fault for the guy's car situation and what not--but still. Suh has always been protrayed as a very stand up guy. I would hate for Suh, and the team, to ignore this.Once You Bleed Red, You Will 'Til You're Dead.

If the blue book value of the car is half what they paid for it then they got screwed...
I would be honored to have Suh hit my car... because I know my car is worth more than what I payed for it, and it would be a cool story.
I was rear ended in a small pile up south of Columbus a few years back, totalled my car, got whiplash, and missed a week of work unpayed. All I got was many phone calls from their insurance trying to get me to change my story and to hear about the lies they told, a year and a half later the insurance companys agreed to disagree and I got screwed. Oh yeah and my insurace gave me enough money for my 03 cavalier to get an 05 monte carlo... it all works out.I bleed crimson....
