Bo just sent video of himself on Gameday and it scared the kid straight!I am not an expert. Everything I say should be taken as my opinion and I love it when people expand on something I say or tell me why my opinion is wrong.

Either the kid was confused or he is a drama queen. I hope it was the former.
If he was a drama queen, then he will need a serious attitude adjustment when he gets here, or he will be a bust.
But, he could have just been unsure of himself. Sometimes when you have multiple choices and there seems to be no clear-cut right answer - it can be difficult. Of course, we all think there is no competition between NU and WKU. But to Carnes, there could have been lots of positives to both programs. I find that when I have a difficult time choosing something, I think to myself "OK, I am going to assume that I am going to go with Choice A. Now, how do I feel? Do I regret not choosing Choice B? Do I feel bad about my decision?" Then I switch and ask myself the same questions. Sometimes the positives just don't jump out at you and make the decision for you. Sometimes you have to make a decision, and the regret will change your mind once you have committed yourself in your mind. If you can do that in your head before you put it on paper, it can be a valuable decision-making skill. That may be what happened to Carnes.
Or drama queen.
Either way, I'm happy with Carnes and Jamal Turner next year. Only time will tell if they pan out. Now, just give me Aaron Green next year (R

Tommie Frazier called him up and asked, "Are you insane?!" Tommie went on to explain what a 20(soon to be 21)-game losing streak is, and the difference between good and bad decisions. No, I don't know that's what happened... but I don't know it didn't happen either.
I hope Carnes' recruiting drama isn't indicative of the way he makes decisions on the field. -

Its great that we got him at the last minute. It sounded to me like his coaches were pushing him to go to WKU (their head coach is a manatee alum), but he must have gotten some sense talked into him by a family member, probably his mom, whom he said he prayed with. I am pretty disappointed Owa went to UCLA though. I mean, how ridiculous is that? They must be masterful recruiters out there in LA. Rick Neuheisel is a joke as a coach though. I'm just going to make a wild prediction that he regrets his decision. To play on the team that beat Tulane by 9 points in the Eaglebank bowl rather than the team with the best defense in the nation. The only thing I can think of is that he didn't want to wait his turn (he would have had to wait for Allen to graduate, and then you have Meredith, Ankrah and Williams fighting for a starting spot as well).huskermaniac28
