I think it would be cool to do this with a Rivalry game against Wisconsin. Definitely not all home games, it would take away from saying GO BIG RED. I don't think our Rivalry game at the end of the season against Iowa would be as good.. Maybe something to experiment with next season.
I think it would be a good idea to stop photoshopping the oregon ducks uniform and putting Nebraska's emblems on it. Other than that, it would look great.

I do like the idea of not blending with Wisconsin . But we were BIG RED first. I know it sounds juvenile. Keep it Scarlett and white. Or at least wait till after our first year in the 10 is over. Black Jerseys/Pants with white numbers on front/back with a solid 1-2 inch red stripe running up both sides from the bottom of the pants to underneath the armpit. And the shoulders dont have numbers on them but instead they both have a solid red figure of the state...?

Didn't everybody get pissed when they experimented with red on red and white on white uniforms a few years ago? I have a feeling the fanbase/alumni will not be happy with this either.
So we have a whole husker nation in red yelling GO BIG RED, what we all supposed go buy all new black shirts. The red and white are our pride think about it.

Years ago, I thought a black Huskers uniform would be sweet! The only thing I would like to see on the black helmet though, is the "N" with the cursive Huskers through it. Huge, covering the entire side of the helmet, Boise style.

I am a transplanted Nebaskan. We moved to California in 1959. My Grandmother, who lived across the sttreet from Wesleyan U. passed away in Novenber of '64 while on a visit to us, and we brought her home for the funeral. My Dad and I were standing on a corner on "O" Street, and from there we could see the University of Nebraska Football Stadium. When the game let out, there was a sea of red flowing down the street out of the stadium. It was quite impressive, I will say! Go Big Red!!!

It would have been great if you could have chosen pictures from the time they were in the Big 8 and the Big 12 over the years. That would be some great photos of some great players. This was an outstanding job.
What a great game for Suh. I am not a Lion's fan but with his presence. They became the best new defense in the NFL last season. They will even be better this year if there is a season to watch. I will always follow Huskers into the NFL. I will always be a Husker fan.
I have never seen any one defensive player dominate a game like Suh did in the Big 12 title game against Texas. Texas was always a thorn in the side of Nebraska for years. Best of luck in the Big Ten for years to come. Go Big Red!!!!!!!!!!!!
There are many 'shrines' in college football, but Memorial Stadium in Lincoln, Nebraska is definitely one of the highlights!! Can't wait for the Big X teams to come and see what it is like!!!

Black Jerseys/Pants with white numbers on front/back with a solid 1-2 inch red stripe running up both sides from the bottom of the pants to underneath the armpit. And the shoulders dont have numbers on them but instead they both have a solid red figure of the state...?

I am a transplanted Nebaskan. We moved to California in 1959. My Grandmother, who lived across the sttreet from Wesleyan U. passed away in Novenber of '64 while on a visit to us, and we brought her home for the funeral. My Dad and I were standing on a corner on "O" Street, and from there we could see the University of Nebraska Football Stadium. When the game let out, there was a sea of red flowing down the street out of the stadium. It was quite impressive, I will say! Go Big Red!!!

Wow, looked pretty warm that day. The coldest I've ever been in my life was at an Iowa State game, back in 1987 or 1988, when I was in the UNL Marching Band. I'll never forget it!
